Bowling on the Algarve

There are three bowling greens in close proximity to Vila Real.

Two are located near Tavira which is about 15 minutes away and the other is in Spain near Ayamonte which is the Spanish port the other side of the River Guadiana. Affectionately known as the Spanish Algarve. In each of the venues you can hire bowls for a nominal sum but these will be subject to availability. If you intend to bring your own bowls the airline may charge you extra for “sports equipment” but talk to me about this.
